Thanks RedJag! she a beauty! I think I will start with the side vents and possibly add the mirrors. I thought it might be too much carbon fiber with the mirrors but yours looks pretty sweet.

Thanks Mark! it is an R-S, I had a black SC and had some chrome on the side vents and mirrors. Love yours as well, I think the chrome looks sweet on the black

I also thought it would be to much carbon fiber but after seeing a XFSC done at the dealership, I knew it would look good. The Carbon fiber with your red would really be tasteful to the eye. I just got back from vacation and I had people taking pictures of my ride. With carbon fiber, it drew a lot of positive comments. Be sure to post pic's as you added on.. Good luck..

Hi. Is that real carbon fiber or wrap. There's a new gloss wrap and it looks exactly like real. I've ordered some to play with on my wood interior veneer. Photo Gallery - Where are the XFs?-image.jpg
The real jaguar fascia is on the right and the vvivid wrap is on the left. I've got a couple cracked wood pieces already (very disappointed in jaguar wood still cracking so soon) so using it as an excuse to play around a little. Already covered the center console with metallic black brushed steel. And front doors and blade with matte black carbon but I more the gloss of the wood. Or carbon. Love the black brushed though.

I bought the mirrors cheap on this forum from another member but both Mina gallery and Jaguar OEM have them. I did the chrome hood vents, side vents and mirrors.

Its real Carbon Fiber, Jaguar sells the the complete set but its very $$$$. The front splitters I purchased from Mina to complete the set.

I've debated on the carbon exterior pieces from mina. He's working on a XFRS custom spoiler right now for me, smaller than the factory big one, made off the XKRS spoiler.
I just wonder if the carbon vents, mirrirs, and splitter would be too much with all my gloss black details. I have no chrome except for badges so am I introducing yet another finish or would they look good?

Default My Sportbrake

Finally achieved a life-long ambition to own a new Jaguar - my 2.2 Luxury Sportbrake. Without doubt the most awesome car I have ever owned.

Some of you may have seen my post trying to deliberate between an XF and and XK; and might know that I almost bought a red XKR earlier in the summer. The thing is I hate how XFs look in pictures, but always LOVE how they look in person; and opositely love how XKs look in picutres but hate how they look in person. Then there is people interior combinations. I've been turned off by people's interior color combos on at least a half dozen cars I considered buying. ..."Charcoal"... More like ugly gray! But ultimately I found this beauty with low mileage, and very close to me. I test drove it "just for fun." I did a walk around the car, and it looked way better in person than in the ad photos. Sat at in it and the interior color combo was (to me) perfect! I honestly left my home with no intention of buying a car. But all I can say is, I have a HUGE soft-spot for Red Jaguars and I'm now a PROUD owner of an XF. Second Jag in a year; I am now officially a cat person.

Poor little X-Type in the reflection hasn't been driven in days.

How much do you save with a used "Base" model over a "Premium?" The Premium gives you soooo much more...

I have to agree, London tan is a sexy interior. Seems like one you find mostly in the XFRs. Hood ornaments on the new models seems hit or miss. Sometimes they look great, sometimes they look god aweful.
