Really happy with my XF. Just made another 500 mile trip and all is well. We seem to have the latest gremlins under control, and still under warranty!! 15k left on it so I'll have to decide if I'm trading up or keeping a while longer.

We got about a foot of snow on Monday and another 2 or 3 yesterday. She handles it like a champ.

A few donuts may have been done in an open parking lot prior to this picture...

My XFR is probably the worst car I've ever driven in the snow. The tires, torque and HP all add up to BAD! I had a Mustang GT that I thought was bad but the XFR wins the prize for Beauty, performance and poorest snow handling!

Hi Mark,

Have you got winter tyres on it? I have had the XKR and XFR and they were both the same in snow. That's the trouble with a rear wheel drive with all that power.

NO, I do not use snow tires. Waste of time and money IMO - when it's bad out I just use a different vehicle. The only challenge to this strategy is if you are already out and wasn't expecting it to snow. makes for challenging driving but I'm always up for the task - even though I don't enjoy it!

Default I couldn't wait any longer!

I had to put my wheels on. I am a store manager at Discount Tire and I had my wheels mounted and balanced sitting in the rack waiting to go on my car. For fear of how unpredictable February weather can be I wasn't sure what the right time to install them would be. After looking at them for 2 days I gave in!!
Front is 21x9 +45 wrapped in255/30R21 Michelin Super Sport
Rear is 21x10 +38 wrapped in 305/25R21 Michelin Super Sport
I am happy with the look and I am especially happy I found a 21" wheel that wasn't priced over $1k each.
