has anyone ever considered installing this illuminated badge to the grill? Its cheap enough to want to at least fit to see how it looks, just trying to figure out how straightforward the wiring would be to connect
I ordered one to try out for fun, TBD if I can actually get it wired correctly, here's the instruction seller gave:
I'd assume it should connect to one of the front LED headlight 15A fuses in the engine fuse box(XJ), anyone done this before can you just pull it out, wrap wire around prong, and stick back in? kinda skeptical it'll work

had considered that, so no issue with taking out a headlight fuse and connecting it to one of those along with the wire?
also anyone know what the empty fuse slots marked "Spare" in the manual mean? Could I insert an extra fuse/wire into one of those and have them turn on with the car?

Thank you! I've put a lot of time into making it look the way I want without going over the top. A few people have stopped me asking "what is that???", and a few have also asked if it's a Project 8. I like having something different on the road that is hard to recognize and unique.

Well, I would like to commend you on a job well done... I to have done many things to my XFR including the R-S tune and exhaust system. I like being unique and different. I only have 22000 miles on my 2013 because driving in the winter is not happening and also after the winter because the roads are full of potholes.. BTW, Just a point of information, I was the original designer of the front lip splitters... LOL... I came up with the idea and took drawings of my front end and sent it to Chris at Mina, so many years ago... KUDOS to you and stay safe.. Herbie

That's a very interesting fact about the front splitters! I wish Chris offered more interior bits, I'd love a carbon fiber instrument bezel, or some Alcantara bits. I had my armrest covered upholstered in Alcantara with red and green stitching my a local shop, again, just trying to make my car unique and "mine.". Super jealous of your XFR though, those are goals right there.

ummmmmmm idk if those are photos of your work or ones that came with the instructions but i highly recommend not wiring it up to a fuse like that. Get a proper fuse tap/add a fuse kit they are very cheap to buy and far safer than that illustration. With how sensitive these cars electrical systems are that image has bad news writen all over it
