Plasti Dipped and New Wheels

As the XFR is the car I drive during the winter I decided to plasti dip her. I know it is not everyone's thing but it is reversible
I also put on some Coventry wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilots to use during the summer months so I do not eat up the winter tires. 20x8.5 ET 35, 20x10 ET 39. This is a fairly flush stance.

One of the better colors I have seen in Plasti-Dip. I do not like the ones that change colors from different angles, but this doesn't look like it does that.
Did you consider a glossifier coat?
Why did you take off the side mirrors? Was that for painting or other reasons?

Thanks for the compliments.
I actually did this mid last winter, and it is holding up quite well considering the amount of rocks we use here. It cost around $400CAD to do. I did it myself and took me about 8 hours from prep to tear down.
Yes I used a glossifier mixed in. I did my other car in a matte finish. You can see the difference. They have a top coat now that is supposed to be very good. Both pics were taken on an overcast day. The Jag when it is clean and sunny looks shinny similar to the last 2 pics when the car is wet.
I removed the mirrors because I have done it a few times. (I had that terrible rattle in the door). It only takes 10 minutes to remove them and makes it so much easier to get the paint under the mirror and less chance of it dripping.
