Poll: Vote On My New Rims
I've been thinking of adding a set of aftermarket wheels to my Liquid Silver XFSC. Thought it'd be interesting to get the forums opinion. Comment below but make sure to make a choice in the poll above. And if you think aftermarket wheels on an XF is stupid, feel free to not say anything at all.

There is a very limited selection of aftermarket wheels available for the XF.
The biggest issue for 18 inch wheels is available rim width as stock is 8.5 x 18.
The factory "optional" wheels look good but are over priced.
OZ makes two that look pretty good: the Michaelangelo (now only available in three piece) and the Superturismo.
BBS split spoke or their copies also look good on just about any car.
The wheels on that Maserati look similar to OZ Michaelangelo but appear weirdly twisted as if the wheel was first used before it had fully cooled and distorted. Looks odd.

Yes, I wish I had the means to buy that as well although I'm torn as to whether I would take the Bentley or the QP given the choice. Hopefully you submitted a vote based on what the wheels might look like on an XF!

Those spokes on the Maz are indeed twisted. I think it gives the wheel more character than a plain, straight spoke. Those wheels are also built to be directional so that they appear the same on both sides.
I have to give it to Jag, they make some of the best looking factory wheels in the industry.

I vote for option 1.
I had a hard time finding 20" aftermarket wheels for my SC. Either the bolt pattern was wrong or the SC offsets were not available. There also didn't seem to be a lot of interest in helping find something as I got a lot of non-replies to my emails and I wasn't keen on going the custom route. In the end I wound up buying chrome OE 'Volens' wheels from LA Wheels in California. They might not be my first choice, but I think they look pretty good. I'll post some phots when I get a chance to take some pics.

don;t want a never ending problem where none exist..
I would love to see some Pic's when you get them.. Maybe that will push me over the edge to buy a set from LA Wheels.

I think I have seen you driving?
I think I saw you driving near Victory Park/AA Center, very nice looking if it was you (saw from a distance). Made me cry for a little while seeing the 22's... I ended up putting 20's on mine because I haven't had very good luck with pot holes. I actually just got a check for $830 from Atmos Energy to pay for a new rim and tire after they left a HUGE pothole with only temporary filler that washed away! Damn Texas roads!
