Possible source for metal version of rear coolant crossover pipe for 3.0 SC

5.0 metal coolant crossover pipe
Found one!! The elusive 5.0 upgrade.. I was planning on purchasing a 3.0 seamless pipe and cutting it down and re-welding/brazing but I finally found a 5.0.
I hate the 2 piece construction though.. going to remove gasket and running a bead around the outside/braze.

Hey, hey, hey you found it!!
Many thanks for that as we have been waiting for the rear water manifold in metal for the 5.0L engine. Great that it fits the SC and NA models too.
Also on EBay for $200.

Well packaged.
Sealing rings a little close to the flange faces, with about 0.5mm raised proud of the flange face.
A water test to clean flush in the sink and showed the ports and opening were flowing (some) water.
A little more in-depth investigation with the duel camera endoscope revealed the hidden depths.
Much the same comments as that posted above on the 3.0SC rear heater manifold as detailed above. see post No.13
Flashing build up internally on the port connections and the manifold. The heater out pipe being the most obstructed.
Unfortunately, I was not able to pry it apart and inspect both insides of the manifold for internal inspection, so boxed up and sent back for refund.
Having two plastic rear AJ133S heater manifolds in stock.
The inlet port legs RH & LH on the alloy manifold were 6mm bore, while the Plastic manifolds were 12/13mm. Granted the CW is only going to exit out the 6mm vent return, and/or through the heater marix outlet pipe, ( if it was unblocked)
But still too easy to additionally clog/block the leg ports in my opinion.
Sure, you could drill it all out, and make it correct once fully inspected, But since I have two plastic manifolds already, and need the money for other parts I'll pass.
Would still be interest in someones internal inspection of the one piece rear manifold.
see Pics.of the two piece Alloy rear manifold.
Fresh Out the Box
Makers Logo
Makers marks on bottom of vent outlet port chamber.
The sealing rings are not very proud from the sealing face, compared to the plastic header pipe. 0.5mm to 1.5mm Looks more like an O ring rather than the square section sealing ring of the original.
RH internal leg port to the rear manifold.
RH internal leg port to the rear manifold.
Outlet to Heat matrix from the rear manifold
more of the same. About a 6mm Dia hole in the 13mm outlet line bore.
Yes it probably would work if you cleaned out the inlet and outlet ports and enlarged the holes, But...

Thank you for the seal part number. I purchased my metal rear water manifold from Eruo-Amp and yes I paid about $190 for this one. Took it apart and then checked for flashing and casting debris. This thing is spotless inside. Hard to separate and I wish I knew what sealant Euro-Amp used so I can put this back together.
Checked all the passageways with a small light and they are all clear.
I do think the comment about these pictures looking like some kind of Colonoscopy are correct!
Thanks for the description of the seal (AJ811600) too and the Euro-Amp one does have a sealing ring that is square on the bottom and round on the top where it mates up to the engine.
Sorry this one is a bit blurry but it is round on top.
This is the bottom and it's square.
Happy with what I found but still glad I took everything apart to check after the reports we have seen so far.
