Powdercoated stock Nevis wheels and Mina Gallery Exhaust tips

Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!
Just got my car back today from a local customization shop Evolution Auto Salon (that is my car on the far right on the home page pic) to get a few things straightened out. They did an absolutely impeccable job. I wasn't really pleased with how my Mina Gallery exhaust was originally installed by a shop run by an acquaintance of mine. The chrome on the exhaust tips was damaged during the install and it was driving me crazy. The exhaust itself is incredible however the bracket supports on mine needed to be cut, adjusted and re-welded to get the mufflers / tips to fit right in the bumper. I would imagine I am not the first one to have fitment issues, but I guess I got unlucky with a little "variance" from the Mina Gallery mfg shop.
I also bent my third wheel in two months from the ridiculous highway potholes in our area due to construction and needed that to be repaired. I had EAS remove the exhaust, powdercoat the tips gloss black, cut, reweld and install it correctly. They fixed the bent wheels and I had all four stock Nevis wheels powdercoated in matte Anthracite. I was going for the new OEM wheel dark gunmetal look. The wheels came out lighter than I thought they would but I actually really like it, they contrast and accent the grey calipers really nicely. It also helps to accentuate the lines of the car somehow; I have a painting of an Aston DBS at home and my wife told me that the lines of my car now look sleeker and flowing like the DBS. They also contrast nicely with the carbon fiber pieces and I am now contemplating the Mina CF side vents because I think they will compliment nicely.
Here are some pretty average cell phone pics due to the weather. The next time I can detail the car and it's nicer out I will try to snap a few more.

Here's a pic when the sun was sort of out that the shop owner Matt took yesterday:

Not a drastic change on both but it made a dramatic impact of the presence of the car. Much more stealth and sleek. Thanks for looking!

That looks great, I really love the look of the wheels. Just my opinion, but I think if you put some tire shine on, it'll give it that final showroom look and make the tires blend in with the paint. But like you said, maybe you're going for that sleeker less obvious look. Either way, the tips and the wheels look amazing. Thanks for the pics.

Yes, I think painting the window surrounds and other chrome to match the wheels would look great. On my 2008 XKR the window surrounds and side vents are painted silver to match wheels and it makes a good contrast.
