Default Proper XF 'Launch Control' ?

Not that I would ever have the need to do this... But i'm curious:

What is the proper method of launch control?
[ul][*]Dynamic mode or DSC OFF ?[*]foot on the brake then jump on the gas when the light turns green[*] OR[*]one foot on the brake, the other on the gas "power braking" at xxx? RPM, then release the brake
[/ul]i just dont know how far to push it...

My understanding from a Magazine review I read said they acheived the claimed 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds by power braking, as you described in the second scenario. I can't remember the RPM launch.

Default Dynamic Mode

A related question: does anyone know if you can make dynamic mode the default setting. I always use it and have to switch it on every time. It would be nice to have it as the default and switch it off whenever.

Default

(1) Sport shift mode
(2) Dynamic mode
(3) DSC completely off
(4) Left foot brake and mash the gas - the RPMs will hold around 1500
(5) get off the brake and hold on
(6) don't forget to shift

How's that for bringing a thread back from the dead?
