does anyone know what the universal joint part number is, is it replaceable ?, or do you have to buy the whole prop shaft, 2010 XF 4.2

you’d have to take it out and find the size

center bearing is much more common failure and easy to get

Sorry to hijack this thread , could you tell me where to get this centre bearing as I'm being told by everyone that it is not available, it's a full shaft only. From the measurements I can find it appears to be the same one as it fitted to the e60 bmw 530d but I am awaiting one of those coming into the local parts store (completely out of stock in Ireland) so it may take a week or more to get the part.

There's a thread on here which should tell you plenty: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ispreloading=1

I'm using the SGF GAC02-004 and it works well.

Thanks for the reply but is that not for the doughnut rubber, not the carrier bearing. Lots of people talk about it but I cannot for the life of me find a part number for that. After reading those threads I've actually got the doughnut on its way now though so thanks but I still need a carrier bearing part number.
