Pumping out the oil..

Pumping out the oil..
So I bought this pump
to do top side XFR oil changes since I started using the WalMart Super Tech 5w20 Full Synthetic oil, I'm changing my oil every 4k mi. and changing the filter every 8k mi.
Used it a couple days ago and it works great, even used it to suck out the power steering fluid and in Higgins and my truck. I'm liking the topside oil change option with the XFR. Quick Easy and CLEAN!
And Higgins Likes Wallys Synthetic oil.

Not trying to be a pain in the ***...But going against the Jag recommended oil is one thing, but to leave the oil filter in every other oil change, just goes against everything I've ever believed in when it comes to oil and filter changes, makes me cringe.......And I've been doing my own oil changes since 1972.
But this is just me...So, do as you feel best for the car...

With every other oil
Mobil 1
Valvoline Syntec
and Pennsoil synthetic made with Natural gas
Higgins used between .25 and .5 qts every 3k, Higgins used 0 courts of Wally's 5w20 in 4k mi. and I like it for only $17 a Gal. I can afford to change it every 4k and find it 24hrs a day EVERYWHERE!..lol

This Jag oil filter designed to last 15k mi. on NO oil change, so 1 oil change at 4k mi while using the same oil filter for 8k mi is no issue if you have no other problems with the engine, and I don't
As far as what Jaguar recommends for oil - this publication
http://www.api.org/~/media/Files/Cer...GLISH_2013.pdf
breaks down what specifications match or exceed
Jags recommendations, and this testing
Petroleum Quality Institute of America
proves it out, Wally's does just fine.
Only been changing oil since 78, but been NHRA drag racing since 1985.
I'ma do me, so you go ahead and do you!

Like I said..It's me and not you..And if you feel okay with this, it's your ride...Finding reasons to justify your reasoning, well, it's like the guy that seems to think 87 octane is okay in spite of 91 octane....To me it just don't make sense to leave a dirty oil filter in after you change the oil..It's also like why do you wipe your *** after you take a dump, you are only going take another dump in a few hours or so..
I really don't care how or what you do...I just stated how I feel about it if it were my car and I'm glad it isn't.
But I do like the pump idea..can you mention brand and cost maybe?

In either example, he's doing a lot more than what is recommended, not less. If you followed Jaguar's recommendation, you'd have oil in there almost 4x as long, with the same filter. So he has cleaner oil going through the filter half as long as recommended.

I'm NOT justifying, just explaining. The pump can be found on EBay.

It's an Aleko, see here: ALEKO | Portable Scavenge Pump.
I found it very easily by right-clicking on the image in post #1 then choosing "Search Google for image".
I'm running Google Chrome on a PC with Windows 10, so I don't know if this method will work for other set-ups.

Just get about 5ft of the right size hose to fit the fixture it the oil fill on the motor as the hose it comes with is too small, and I just push the hose on with NO CLAMPS since there is nothing to stop a lose clamp from sliding down the hose, down the fixture and into the motor. I had some hose around the garage, didn't get the size off it.
