Default A question about color for the opinionated

The XF-R is on order (but not locked yet) in Ultimate Black and London Tan, but SWMBO saw a Luna Gray XF yesterday and wondered if that (with Red Zone interior) would look better than the "Black & Tan" combo. Any opinionated "Coloristas" want to add they point of view?

Hi Le Chef,

First, congrats on the inbound XF-R. Since you did ask, what about the Indigo Blue or the Emerald Fire? I'm a bit old school on colors though. I did see an Ultimate Black at my local Jaguar dealer the other day and it looked sharp in the bright sunlight.

Good luck with your decision.

Default Limited color range with R

No Emerald Green and no Spice interior with the R. I think we will stay with the "Black & Tan" but it's worth asking the question while you still have the opportunity to change the spec.

Default Time for a change

I've had black/black and gray/black and I'm bored with black interiors. I'm looking forward to the "London Tan" interior. It looks like the color of a riding saddle on a dark gray horse blanket with tan contrasting stitching.

White looks amazing anywhere you have good/hot weather for most of the year. It really brings out the shape of the car.

In the cold midwest white in the middle of winter just makes you shiver all the more. And if you go off road in a snow storm, how are they going to find you?
