Do any of you guys notice slight vibration/tingling of the gas pedal around 1500 rpm? I am being told by the dealer that this is a normal occurrence with these cars, however it is slightly annoying...

Haven't noticed it, but I won't look for it as if I feel it, it will probably annoy me too.

 

It is pretty apparent so if you had this problem, you would not have to look for it... I am just wondering if more cars are affected per dealer's statement.

 

I have 2 of the XF's with 5.0 NA engine. No vibrations at all at anytime on the gas pedals.

Just another dealer doing the "that's normal" thing on you. Ask them to go out in another XF and see if it does it.

 

Ditto, no vibrations on pedal.

Might be a difference between how the pedals are mounted on the RHD and LHD models?

Mine is right hand drive.

 

+1 none in either car, both 5.0!

Time to speak to the Service Manager directly and demand that this be fixed. If that does not work call Jaguar North America.

 

Thank you guys for confirming! I guess I will have to escalate the issue to Jaguar US since dealer thinks it is normal...
