Random power loss

Yesterday I was cruising around 45mph when the car in front of me slowed to make a turn. I was probably going about 20-25mph when I hit the gas to accelerate back up to speed. However, instead of going faster, the car felt like it shut off. I took my foot off the gas and pressed it again and still nothing. Felt like a car with a manual transmission after stalling out - just rolling.
After a few seconds, I tried again and this time the car sped up. Hasn't happened since, but it has me nervous.
Any ideas? Thinking about taking it to get checked out under warranty, but doubt they'll be able to recreate it since this is the only time it's happened to me.

Could be the fuel pump. I lost power on my 2012SC a few times, once while stopped in a line of traffic on the freeway and the other time at stop sign (was able to roll a little downhill and duck aside the intersection just barely). Not fun, especially when you can not easy pop in neutral to get out of the way. First time was the fuel pump, next time the other side of the fuel pump that went. Both times I was able to restart the car after about 5 minutes. Made sure to drive to service asap. Was under warranty, so not a huge deal. Engine light should probably come on if that's the issue. I'd have them take a look.
