Running in the Wanna Go Fast 1/2 mile race on Saturday in Clayton GA.

The Jag did pretty well. It held its own against a supercharged '16 or '17 Z06 that was modded. I actually lead him until 3rd gear. I beat a late model auto CTSV. Best run was 139.925 vs 134 for the CTSV. Also beat an 800 hp, twin turbo 5.0 late model mustang but if he could drive I'm certain the outcome would have been different. I really wanted to run a hellcat but didn't get the chance. Stock they often run in the mid 130's. I would have loved to get that video. Maybe next time.

What mods are you running to put down those kind of numbers?

Eurocharged tune, pulley and mina intake. 518 rwhp. All runs from full stop. It was a ton of fun and great being different and not the 75th Corvette. I think I was the heaviest car there. LOL

I'd thought about attending that event, as I'm in Atlanta and had several friends running in it (yes, a few have Corvettes). I ultimately bailed, though.

Sounds like fun! I went to the Texas mile. Pretty much no one knew what the XF was - LOL. Ran 143+ in the 1/2 mile against a 18mph headwind. Totally stock.
