Default Rear Sun Shade Problem

Has anyone had a problem with the rear sun shade not operating? Mine just clicks once, but doesn't move. I looked but couldn't find any information on a DIY repair. Any help would be appreciated!

Had the same problem and think the shade was being held down by a lip in the rear shelf trim. I gently pulled the shade up a little and operated the switch and it freed itself. No problems since.

Try operating the switch a few times with a helper pulling gentle, it will work eventually. I used a very small amount of silicon spray it it now works consistently, not that I ever really use it.

Agree with both, sometimes they need a little persuasion. They tend to stick when not used.
