Redjaguar no more!
I went to the dealership just to get a oil change, atleast thats what I ment to do. When out of the corner of my eye, in the middle of the show room floor, was this 2013 XFR. The color said come over here and check me out. Nexts thing I knew, They where taking the plates off my red little girl and putting them on this. Wow! 4 more years of payments and trying to explain that to the wife... Oh well, I love this baby all the same. And yes, I would do it all over again.. I guess, I'll have to change my name now.. LOL..

Hey Executive,
Jaguar have really stepped up its game from the first time I ever drove one. The fit and finish is so much better then my Red little girl. They made big changes to the interior without changing the appearence. The ride is much more compliant and the seats are far more comfortable. Now I have to baby her until I get past the break in period. She goes back to the dealer on thursday to get the side sills and pedals installed. And BTW! surprisingly, The wife was OK with it.. Win.. Win.. situation..
My only question is why Jaguar got rid of the B&W sound system for this Meridian surround sound one. It doesnt sound bad, Just different.

About 5000 miles and you can really start having fun with it.
Forgot to ask about the start stop - do you find it annoying or is it bearable? Do you turn it off?
I wonder how many passionate Jaguar owners have done the same and what percentage of the market segment they make up.

You never notice it.. I dont believe its active until after the break in period.. I'll know more about that on thursday when I go back for the installs.

Thanks bud, But I must say, This color selection was in part your fault..LOL. I was turn on by the first time I seen your wheels. I think I commented about it when you install the detector. When I seen it in the show room, It was like a dream come true. Thanks..

I think that whole, "come in and get you older model reprogrammed on us" was just a ploy to get you back into the dealership. That and the oil change thing. Well it really worked in my case...LOL... Oh well! The price was right and I got more than I expected for my trade. I also think, the owner of the dealership wanted to make room for that XFR-s he said he ordered.
BTW, what is new for your '13 over past model years?
