Glad you didn't just paint them black.

Those will look sharp and tasteful. Looking forward to pictures....

Did the finish come out even? Usually with spray cans it's difficult to get even coverage. Hard to tell from the photos. Have you done previous applications on other wheels? Wondering how it will how hold up over time?

Looks awesome! Wish I had found that paint before I had my XK8 wheels painted! Had my XF painted too but went with hyper black.

I would say they came out even, and at a total cost of $35 vs $400 to have them done they look even better. Now I probably would have just had them done by a Pro if I knew for sure this was the color I wanted. I had gone back and forth between the graphite, black and a more gun metal (blue gray). I'm getting the tires installed this morning so that will be the final test to see if I like them on the car.

Also as a side note I'm installing a set of lionhart lh-003 tires (435 for the set shipped) these are an all season tire and at the price I figured I would try them out

Before and after, I think they came out good, also I have only driven about 20 miles but the new tires ride nice and have better lip protection when compared to the hankook v12's

Looks very nice! Really glad to see this worked out well and that it can be done successfully as a DIY. I have a second set of Nevis for my XFR for winter, and was planning to refinish them like this, as long as they will fit the XFR-S I have on order.

Don't want to be quick to judge, but slightly lighter would have exhibited the form, details and such of the wheels better.

I like... Very much. Graphite looks very nice and does not look "ricey" or douchebaggy

I just picked up a 2011 XFR and like the wheels, just not in the silver they are now.

I am going to try something a bit different by painting, I originally wanted to get my wheels powder coated until I read about the harm Powder coating can do to forged wheels like those fitted from the factory.

I will post up after I tested my idea on my son's 2000 Saab stock wheels. A little cheaper to deal with if I xF it up....

+1 on the graphite - I have also used "tungsten", just a variation of that shade - and it looks NICE.
