Restricted Performance - ODB code P0018

Got this the other day - restricted performance and the engine light came on - stayed on for about a day and now its off . I read the ODB code and it was p0018 - something about a CRANKSHAFT POSITION - CAMSHAFT POSITION CORRELATION. I've had this happen before and it does goes away after a day or 2. Has anyone else seen this. Anything I need to be concerned about especially as I'm getting close to the end of the warranty.
Not sure the dealer will do much unless the light is still on.
Thanks

The likely causes for that code is that either the timing chains are out of timing tolerance between the cams and crank (very serious) or a bad position sensor on the crank or one of the cams (not very serious). Other than that it could be wiring, connectors or the ecu module. I would certainly get it in and push them for a real diagnosis.
If you did not reset the code and it went off on its own, it should be stored for them to see.
