Welcome to the forum au3gh,
Although you don't give any indication of Location, your IP Address suggests you are in Cairo?
The correct P/N depends on VIN range and LHD or RHD:

That far away from the Jaguar factory, you certainly don't want to be ordering the wrong one!

Thanks Graham for your kind reply. Yes indeed I'm writing from Cairo, Egypt yet I have no clue why my location is not showing... I guess i have to edit my profile for that.
As for my car it is LHD & my VIN is FR09596
Thanks for your support my friend & I'll follow the link you've sent me for proper introduction.
Cheers !

Ahmed,
YES - Location field at the top right of your posts will automatically fill from the setting in your forum profile. City, Country is the best choice for this international forum.
Here's the P/N's for your VIN with LHD boxed in green:
![Rotary Gear Selector Shifting Knob - Part Number-rotary_2.jpg](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/attachments/xf-xfr-x250-44/209447d1517312032t-rotary-gear-selector-shifting-knob-part-number-rotary_2.jpg)

I've also shown RHD as it's risky to assume just because you drive on the right that you have a LHD car.![Icon Lol](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

specially it has the the same number as mine on the part's back /P 8X23-7E453 -AF
attached is the back of my faulty part for your reference...
