I have an XJ6 (2007) soverign spec. My problem is that when i set the sat nav and it is either completely wrong or i decide to go somewhere else i can not just cancel it.
Gentlemen (and ladies) can anyone explain how i can cancel a route without having to turn off the ignition switch and wait for 5mins???

I've never heard of the Nav self-cancelling by turning the ignition off if you've pressed START on the system. If you've started the guidance, you should be able to select cancel in the route options screen if I recall my 2006 S-Type system correctly (I think the 2006 and 07 XJs used the same Nav system.) If you haven't started the guidance, you should be able to back out of all your selections using the back arrow on the destination screen
