Hello all,

I have today tried to update my 2011 Jag XF Sat Nav. I slipped the 2019/20 disc into the slot in the boot and now the actual Sat Nav option on the screen has actually disappeared, so basically I have no navigation as an option on the infotainment screen. The Navigation button has actually greyed out so it's not even an option

Help!

 

Would a hard reset possibly cure the Sat Nav problem?

 

Put the 2011 disc back in & see if that solves it ?

 

I didn't think the 2011-2012 sat nav could be updated to the later maps. The later models use different software I believe. Someone more knowledgeable than I should jump in soon.

Did the seller say this was compatible with a 2011?

 

There is a 2020 North America map update for my 2012 XF according to the website www.navteq.com . Comes as a USB stick with activation code. Price appears to be $199 plus $29.99 shipping.
According to the website DVDs for earlier XF cars are available with 2013-2014 North America maps.
