Default Screenwash not working

Hello All.
Some help please on my 2010 XF 3.0 D.
My screenwash pump is not working.
I have replaced the pump but nothing, so checked to see if the pump was receiving power and it was not when engaging the switch on the stalk.
I have checked the fuse and that is ok.
Would the next step by to change the relay? What number relay would that be as i can't find reference to a diagram online.
Could it be the stalk switch that's failing? The wipers are ok.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
James

Do you have headlight washers? From the wiring diagram it looks like the screen washer doesn't have a relay whereas the "power wash" option does. If you press and hold the wash button do the wipers move? That will tell you whether the stalk is working as the IPC sends the appropriate wash and wipe commands on the MS CAN. If its doing the wipe when you press the button then the stalk is working and it seems you are looking at an electrical issue between the junction box and the pump (or the power wash relay), if there is no wipe then its probably the stalk.

Mine recently failed; the headlamp washer works but the screen does not. The wiper cycle does work. I had the same issue with my 2011 XK—it has two pumps, one for the screen and one for the lamps. I replaced the screen pump and that fixed the problem. I’m going to try the same on my XFR. Aftermarket pumps are inexpensive and will fit.
