SDD v164 configure new EGR
I've been searching for an idiot guide how to configure a new EGR valve with SDD - 100's of posts on SDD but haven't spotted anything to help me hence this post.
This is for a Jaguar XF 2.2d 2013.
I replaced the EGR valve due to Restricted Performance DTC P0403 & P0405.
The EGR valve replacement solved the problem, no more Restricted Performance, but now I have the ELM light on and DTC P0409 & P0409(17)
I believe now I need to configure (adapt) the new EGR valve to the ECU.
I have the SDD v164 and mongoose cable and the program works with no problem but I cannot find the EGR configuration section.
I am in desperate need of some guidance. I have been going through the various sections but I seem to get more confused with every mouse click
Thanks

@dennis black - Thanks Dennis, this sounds a bit too drastic and worrying. But please let me have some more details before I do it and show my ignorance at the same time .
Firstly, where do I find the Reset to factory. Under which tab. Just had a look and cannot find it.
Secondly if any options/modules were added previously by the dealer will they be removed. (keep thinking of the files deleted when resetting to factory a smartphone...).
Sorry to be a pain...
