Shorted Key Fob

How in God's name do I start my 2009 XF with a shorted key fob? Is this car really completely disabled with a dead fob? There is no ignition key slot that I can find? Do I have to have it towed to the dealer to have a new fob programmed? Thanks!

Read your manual! There is a place in the dash to place it in emergencies.
