Nice string of XFs waiting on the lights. What kind of ETs were you guys
turning, <14s? Were they all SCs?

Ha, ya, left two black streaks around the cones!

That was clearly not good autocross driving technique. But I wanted some drama on that run plus I wanted to make a statement to the non-Jaguar owners that day... ;-)

No kidding!

Open diffs are just fine on dry road unless you are really serious about track work.

I'm trying to track down a rumour that the LSD in the F Type S is a Torsen. If so that's a street LSD.

It's not a rumor...

But I thought your AWD XF already has the E-diff in the rear end?

Awd has no LSD and doesn't need one. The traction control system controls single wheelspin across the axle and the awd clutch controls double wheelspin front to rear.

I say rumour about the Torsen because I can find no mention of same except on this board. The quoted source on this board is said to quote a Jaguar source for this information but if you read that source it says nothing about Jaguar fitting a Torsen.

It makes sense Jaguar would fit a Torsen since that is a very effective method of controlling wheelspin when combined with traction control.
