So what does a full tank look like?

I'm pretty sure I'm having issues fully fueling my XF. But before I bring it up to the dealer, can someone verify for me what full looks like on the fuel tank display. I assume the bar reaches and is even with the white end caps on the far right of the display. But if the bar doens't reach that point exactly (like stops just to the left of it) I may be overreacting. Any help will be appreciated.

Your assumption is correct (at least on a 2011, but assume the same for all years). Full tank = all white to the very end. Some have reported that fuel pumps tend to shut off early on these Jags (I've only refueled twice, and seemed to experience this problem the second time). The pump shut off (the pump thought the tank was full) a little over what I would estimate was half full (I didn't check the gauge or pump to be sure whether it was halfway or 3/4, etc.). I had to restart the pump again and then it filled all the way. Do a search for that if you think that could be the problem - several tips and some reports of successful dealer "repairs". Good luck.
