Default some new pics...

Here are a couple new pics of my XF, I recently got the tail lights tinted and installed H&R lowering springs. I will get the windows tinted soon and am looking into getting a BBK also. As always, comments are more than welcome, good or bad. Enjoy. TC

Actually, I didn't think I would like it when it was first beginning, but from the pictures, especially no.2, I'll give it a thumbs up. I would not do mine this way, there's not enough rubber between the wheel and the pavement, but the black is good. So, from initially giving it a -3, I will revise to a + 7. This is based on what I like in a vehicle only.

I agree with the post above. I like the blacked out chrome on the white. I think the rims are too big for my taste but they aren't bad. I like the design of them. Nice job.

I think the car has a very cohesive look to it. The size of the wheels/tires seems appropriate for the look you may be trying to achieve. Very nicely done!

I removed my rear license plate frame this weekend following the suggestion of one of the members here. Have you thought about removing the frame altogether?

I never put much thought into it, I'll go frameless this week and see how I like it.

I like the way it looks, the rims should def be a little smaller though. What is the model name of the wheels? Also..how does it ride now? I bet it's really bumpy. The only problem I had with lowering luxury cars was the fact that it ruins the smooth ride.

Wheels are Vossen CV3's and the ride is a bit stiffer and bumpier especially with the springs, but its tolerable, plus I dont drive the car a lot. I put about 400 miles on it so far and I have had the car since May.

I just did the back plate, haven't tried the front. I have a similar front mount as yours.

Has the body roll decreased in hard cornering? Even in dynamic mode, I would like a bit less roll than current, although it is not bad.

I want to say that the combination of the wider wheel, stiffer sidewall on the tire and the lowering springs makes the car feel a bit stiffer than the dynamic mode when I am in regular mode. Now dynamic mode basically eliminates body roll, which is pretty remarkable for a car this heavy. I am considering rolling the fenders and fitting wider rear tires when the time comes to replace my P Zero Neros.

Awesome Pic's.. I like number two the most... I would worry about when the time comes that the wheels and rubber meet pothole...
