Speaker crackle (Right front tweeter)
I had an issue a while back with the tweeter in the front passenger door crackling. Sometimes it would crackle on a bumpy road. Sometimes it would crackle when the door was opened and closed (all systems off).
It took the dealer a painfully long time to find the problem, which was relatively simple in the end. The at least one of the connections on the back of the tweeter was actually in contact with the door frame. After so many miles, it wore through the paint and started to contact metal. The solution was to insulate with tape. I suspect it is possible to wear through the tape after many many miles, so maybe it will return someday. I also suspect that many of you will incur this problem, eventually.

My question is what sound system do you have the factory or b&w?
