Default Sport mode rpm shift change??

Where do you guys see your shifts when in sport mode ? Tonight mine hit 5000 and then 6000 seemed really late and a little too aggressive?

Yeah in my sport mode its quite aggressive with holding gears, and staying in high RPM's...its a fun time. Not too many cars driving around on the streets of Layton, UT are going to beat my 5.0 when I'm in sport mode
in fact not a single person has ever raced me

You'll have a lot more fun in sport mode. I normally keep mines in sport, living in NJ. You see an opening and you have to take it or else no one lets you merge over.

I get plenty of race opportunities to race on the 101 here in Los Angeles I've smoked a new m4 and m6 but usually I get beaten by the traffic in front of me 😂..

Even on normal streets? It seems like it's hard to get a shift on a regular street.. But last nights experience just seem too late, and how bad are late shifts for a car?

Fun Fun, foot on the floor and shifts at red line....quite normal. (not late shifts, shifts at max or near max torque)

Personally I'd only put it in sport mode if you want to race/mash the pedal down. I rotate the knob over and mash the gas. When I'm done I rotate it back. I'd never drive around at part throttle with it in sport mode. It holds the revs up. A local guy here always drives around with it in sport mode. The reving would drive me nuts if I left mine in that all the time.

Try letting up on the gas briefly, that should get it to shift.
