Sportbrake antenna removal

Sportbrake antenna removal
Hi
I need some help.
The GPS signal is lost and I have a replacement antenna to fit BUT I can't seem to drop the head liner without damaging it.
I have removed the two visible torx screws holding the rear post plastic trim on but can't seem to free the lower ends. Any ideas what to remove next? I don't want to brute force it.
Has any body got the workshop manual for a 2013 Sportbrake? The saloon version doesn't cover this.
Thanks
Chris

Yep you're right - my apologies, got side tracked
You can get to it without dropping the entire headliner, but yes you will need to at least drop the rear seat grab handles, and the D-Pillar trims
If I remember, there is a big yellow clip that holds up the rear section of the headliner - I call it the Big Bird clip - it will most likely break, practically unpreventable. The part number I have is JRC2D22430, it may have been superseded by now

Hi Chris, I have a 2014 sportbrake and I have to remove the shark fin aswell as my gps doesn't work, it's possible to give me any information about how did you do it if I need to buy the yellow clip etc, any information will be appreciated as your post is the only one I have found about jaguar estate. Thank you in advance
I re-used the yellow clip - use a trim removal tool. But to tidy up the rear edges of the liner I resorted to some double sided tape as the door trim stops just short.
Be sure to have the correct antenna unit before you start. I didn't which was frustrating..
Good luck - you'll need it.
Chris
