Hi All, first time poster, long time fan.

About a year ago, I picked up a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S8. I paired that phone with the Jag and within days my volume control on the steering wheel started bahaving spuriously, sometimes working, sometimes not. I repaired it with my work iPhone and the problem went away after a couple of days. Recently though, I've changed jobs and am back on the Android, and lo and behold, I have steering wheel volume control issues. Then yesterday, my GPS stopped working. The moment that happened, my volume controls started working again. Today, I fixed the satnav by going into the diagnostics menu (Navigation>Destination Entry>Hold the colon ( after Destination Entry: for a few seconds), performed a recalibration, and boom, satnav started finding satellites again, but now the volume control is acting up again.

So - I am of the firm belief that the computer is acting up and probably needs a hard reset, but I really don't want to go through the ECU setup process (scared of breaking something). Anyone else have this problem with the steering wheel controls/computer?

By the way, it's a 2014 XF, so facelift with the Gen 2.1 unit.
