Default Sudden loss of power steering (2013)

Hi
Today on first drive the power steering assist went to about 1%. Feels like a bus and needs two hands to turn wheel.
No fluids on ground; all fluids proper; tires ok.
I searched the internet and see that this is a common failure in 2013-2014 XF. Can anyone point me to a TSB?
This is the article I found:
https://www.cars.com/articles/recall...1420663004898/

What are best next steps? Contact Jaguar factory about issue or straight to dealer? Car has 5600 miles (yes!) on it.

Thanks

So a bit more to update. This morning when this issue happened the cranking was very slow as if the battery was very low....Drove the car about 30 minutes without shutting it off during this issue and then parked it.

So after a bit of googling this evening I found another Jaguar website that contained this info: https://www.jaginfo.org/threads/heav...teering.21897/

Well, guess what? After parking and restarting just now, the steering is fine. This sounds exactly like the problem described in the link given. Fingers crossed this is some sort of electrical stupid software issue and it kicks in when low battery is detected. Sigh...

If someone knows differently I'm interested in finding out what might be going on.

Ahhh!! I heard rumors to this effect. Can I claim *second* fastest?
I'll update my sig. No, I won't be going. A bit far and not a thing for the family.

Sure no problem!
Hey I was just bragging a bit!!
Really cool to see another Jag at the Texas mile too!

Don't know if you knew but they are adding attractions just because of what you said. So now we have a nice array of food trucks. Their Cajun food was very good!
Plus a car show at the same time the race is running and a portable dyno has been added to.

So they are trying to be more family friendly for sure.

Agree! I will reconsider this fall if we get out of this crazy Covid shutdown. Any chance you track race as well? I have an open invite to join a group of racers at Motorsport ranch which is on my bucket list for this car

Yes I am planning to but my launch is so bad with the added power that I need more practice. Either I go up in smoke or don't hit it hard enough.
Nearest strip to me is Sealy, Tx - Lonestar Motor Sports Park.

At least with a mile run the start is not terribly important. Don't know about the Texas Mile again or not. If I get another mod done then I will want to go.
But if no changes to the car maybe not.
