My email to them:
Hi, I have a s/c 2009 XF. I saw the pulley you guys have for sale to add HP to my car. Do I need a special tool to install this pulley? Does my ecu need to be reprpgrammed? Lastly, would this pulley void my factory warranty?
Thanks... Mike
Mina's response:
Hey Mike,
The original pulley is pressed on and so you need a pulley puller to remove it and an install tool to re-install it. While there are tool that would work better then others, these are fairly generic and something a relatively well equipt shop should have on hand. The ecu does not have to be reprogrammed. The ecu will adjust on its own to the upgrade, but this is not different then the adjustments it makes continuously as you drive the car. We have done thousands of pulley and never had a single warrantee issue. In fact, we sell to a lot of dealerships. Because the pulley will not alter the air/fuel mixture or result in a check engine lights, dealership do not see to take issue with the install (or even notice it).
All the best,
Chris

I don't disagree with what they said, but, if something were to go wrong with the engine (broken rod, piston ring, blown head gasket, etc.), the transmission, or other driveline related part, and they figured out you changed the pulley to boost the HP, they might/probably will deny a warranty claim, blaming it on the increased boost due to the pulley. Seems like an easy, relatively cheap mod for a pretty good increase in HP, though. I wonder what the differences are between the S/C and the XFR for them to go from 470 to 510 HP? Maybe it's just the pulley!

i've found two places.. one never calls me back or answers my emails, the other only does Mercs, Mini's, BMWs and Porsch's.. now i'm looking at Galpin Autosports which is further than I wanted to drive, but looks like i have no choice. I havnt called them for pricing yet, but i'm 99% sure they can do the work.. Here is my list of "to do's":
Custom Exhaust - DONE
Pulley Install - Tuesday
New Wheels - Next 45 days
ECU Remap - ~30 days after rims
