Time for new Jag
I bought a 2003 XType in 2011, been very good to me, now has 200,000 miles and starting to act up to often.
Looking at a 2014 XF 3.0 SC. AWD with 60,000 miles.
What to look for or any other thoughts?
Also have a 2001 XK8 in Silver, I love to death.

I bought that exact car last year, bought with 75K at a Jaguar dealer, now with 90K just did the service ( and then some) I am in Old Saybrook, pretty close
not looking to sell but always willing to consider it. But come take a test drive any time as you are looking to see what the car is like
That said, well maintained car for sure. Issues are in the forum, I will try to list most common to less. I put guesstimates for independent shop ad 20-50% at dealer
Water pump 450 at a shop
Various electrical gremlins, ie parking sensors, tpms,
Supercharger coupler ( Can go as fast as 30K more likely 60+ - mine went around 80) $1500
Supercharger Snout bearings (same as coupler and gets replaced at the same time) +200 and above
Coolant pipes (especially rear crossover, SC needs to be pulled so above +200 and above)
Noisy Mechanical Fuel pump (especially front) 450 at a shop.
Of course check brakes, look for Oil change records ( more than dealer recommended is best)
The 5,0 engines are known for oil starvation and timing chain issues, so listen for TC noises.V6 may/may not have this same issue
Maybe others can chime in.
