Hi lotusespritse,

Yes, I'll be doing most of it myself, I'm just wrapping up a Ford 5.4l top end rebuild with my son and he is looking forward to working on the 5.0l this summer.

I was a bit concerned acquiring parts but thankfully davetibbs post suggestions locations as well as other members in his rebuild thread. I also have a local shop that does the block and head dips and machine the crankshafts for me as well as supplying the correct bearings once completed if I choose that direction. They work on both North American and European vehicles as I found out when I use to work on my flat-6 out of my 79 911 SC targa. (I worked on that thing so many times, I built a special ramp and cradle for dropping the engine.)
