Default Trouble shooting flashing display screen

Hi, I'm a new Jag owner and new member.

Got a 2009 XF Premium on the cheap with a number of issues I've been working through helped greatly by just searching these forums. The Nav display however has been a tough nut to crack. Display is only flashing the jag logo and during the PPI the dealer said it needed a new display. Based on what I read here I pulled the drivers seat and found wet and rusty modules. Bluetooth module was beyond repair but it appeared I could salvage the audio module by cleaning up rusted connections.

So far I have replaced the bluetooth module with a used one off ebay, cleaned up audio module, and exposed display unit in the dash. Existing and new bluetooth modules both have model number AX23 10F845 AA but it seems originally it should be 7G9N 10D893 AF and the AX23 10F845 AA is from range rover. They look identical and fit perfectly. Anyone know if these are interchangable? Also is there any way to bypass the modules so i can determine if screen is bad?

Also noticed a couple of screws were missing while disassembling dash so someone has been in there previously.

Thans in advance, Joe.
