Default Trunk mount umbrella holder

Hey fellas,

Does anybody have an umbrealla holder mounted in their trunk? I have been wanting to add one.

What are your thoughts on this? T-2 umbrella holder for JAGUAR XF XJ XJ-6 XJ-8 XJS XJR XK XK8 XKR X-Type S-Type | eBay

What's wrong with the Jaguar Umbrella Straps for the XF?

I've moved mine from X300 to X308 to XK8 4.0 ltr and now XK8 4.2 ltr. You can see pics of it in Cambo's link.

I like the concept, my not often used small umbrella is laying in the trunk and gets in the way. I would be concerned about the two small humps created in the trunk weatherstripping where the hangers get inserted.

Will these wear or create a problem in the weatherstripping? I think I would opt for the trunk lid mounted version.

Just buy a Knirps collapsible brolly and a boot organizer.

Thanks for all of the responses guys.

Jaguny, having the holders under the weatherstripping was a concern of mine as well. I will have to look and see if they can be mounted elsewhere.

If not, i will just go with the ones the guys posted above. Didn't actually know those were available for the XF.

Thanks, but I was interested in the holder for the warning triangle and the warning triangle itself.

Warning Triangle Part Number is C2C14862

From the illustration, this appears to include the holder.

Default Warning Triangle Part number etc.

Warning Triangle Part Number is C2C14862
This is NOT the correct triangle.
The one shown is a different model that needs sand to be put in the base to weigh it down and is stored loose not in a clip.

The triangle , complete with holder ( made by Hella so a good brand) you want is JC2C 33010 according to my invoice.
According to the instruction C2S 35863
I have just bought one, cost £23.33 and fitted it.
I do not think the fitting instructions have been updated for years so it is listed as fitting S Type X Type & XJ according to my instructions.

Just two screws to fix it. There is a foam buffer behind the clip at the top.
