Exclamation Two questions, issues with Jag XF

I have two questions in regards to my 2010 Jaguar XF.

1. How do I keep recycled air in the cabin. When I select inside air, it shuts itself off every few minutes. I sit in traffic for several hours a day and am tired of the exhaust blowing into my car from the vehicle in front of me.

2. When I pump gas into my car from multiple different gas stations the pump constantly shuts off when I still have an empty tank. I have tried pumping slower, adjusting how deep I insert the pump, even going as far as turning the handle up-side down. Nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

1. press the recirc button to light it up, then press and hold it until it blinks. done.

2. the dealer needs to fix the gas tank. this is a pretty well known problem with some XFs. It's a problem on one of mine, and the workaround for me is to hold the gas nozzle upside down to pump the gas. I'm going to get it fixed soon under warranty.

I prefer to have the recirc on all the time or as the default. Is there any way I can do that or will I have to do the double press every time I get into the car?

You don't have to press it twice. Just press it on and hold it until you get the recirc-latched indication on the info screen.

Have you tried that on a 2010 or 2011?

Actually no, so I could be wrong about that. It was that way on my 04 XJ though.
