Upgrading to DAB Radio - advice much appreciated

Upgrading to DAB Radio - advice much appreciated
Hi
Since buying my 2008 XF 207D, I have been irritated by the FM reception being particularly poor, which is seemingly caused by a break in the ariel in the rear screen. Attempts have been made at repairs by my local garage, to no avail.
I am therefore wondering whether to buy a used SAT NAV RADIO DAB UNIT WITH TOUCH SCREEN, to replace the (presumably) non DAB one in my car. If I also purchase the shark fin antenna from the same seller (same car), will I need anything else.
Also anyone have knowledge as to whether the unit will be a colour screen?

Are you sure it's the antenna in the screen broken? Can you plug in an external antenna to test first?
Are you trying FM with the HD radio setting on? I find the digital signal isn't great on HD radio so it switches back and forth btw HD and analogue and the reception becomes choppy. So I turn HD off in the settings and it's much better
