Using an XF as a Daily driver?

Hi All,
I finally had to get rid of my Volvo S60R and am in need of another daily driver.
One thing I do need is AWD.
I have been looking at the XF 3.0 AWD. 2013. 90k on the odometer with Service records.
Would something like this be a good daily driver?
Cheers,
John

That's what I do. Plus it lives outside in New England (but that isn't really good for the paint finish...)

Current Hers: '13 Lexus ES350
Current Mine: '15 XF (X250) Portfolio AWD
Jaguar - making mechanics out of customers since 1935

Prob depends how much you drive daily. 90k is a good mileage - if you do 10k or less /yr then plenty of life. If you're in the 15-20k longer commutes etc then you'll be high on miles quickly
That said much more impt that it has been well cared for, regularly serviced etc than the actual mileage
Would have thorough inspection. And sedans are less popular these days so push hard on price. There are plenty around
I've daily driven my 2010 XF for 8 years now and still love it. 70k miles and feels like new!
I had a Volvo V70R before that which I liked. But the sport suspension was too hard and would bottom out!

In general, daily driver is exactly what an XF was designed for but at 90K, remember its no Lexus even if its shaped like one. Its approaching the mileage that it very likely needs a LOT of deferred maintenance regardless of the official fluid and filter change schedule. I've got about half that mileage and just last Fall did the "big plastic replacement" including intake valve cleaning. Its not part of the official service schedule, but believe me, after seeing firsthand the state of those parts, it needs done every 50K miles. If you're a DIY'er, it could be a good bargain. If not, well, then you're a glutton for punishment going by the list of older Jaguars in your signature.

Sure, it can be a daily driver. My advice to you would be to check the records and verify. Plastic replacements should have been done or will need to be done for sure. Water pump, SC coupler all should have been looked at by now also.
if you stay in front of it, the maintenance isn’t much different than other cars in that price range.
ive got 145 on mine and going in next week for my 3rd supercharger coupler, intake gaskets, and both engine mounts. But still runs very strong.
