Just going to put this out there but this guy starts off by acting like he has something to add to the community but when you inquire in PM he talks about needing dealers tools OR he will generously help you download a program that'll emulate it (for a price of course) and then starts to pimp you performance tunes for additional fees.
Not sure of a validity of everything since I broke communication after the bait and switch.
Activating the Video In Motion is only possible by using the dealers diagnostic system (SDD) with some modified files. A dealer is not going to do this for you. So frankly if you don't have SDD or access to someone who does, then it can't be done to your car.

I'm advices you to found someone who already has SDD and cable, after it possible to talk about activating VIM option, if you doesn't find someone, when you'll need: Windows 7 32bit OS, SDD software, access to system, OBD cable VCM (genuine), I-VIEW or MongoosePRO, battery charger for 25-30A. Please count how much you need to spend only for activating Video In Motion. If you decide to collect all these things, or take them from someone, when I could make this job via TeamViewer. As variant there is possible to remap yours SC with RS program.

Why dont you explain how it's done with the tool so people can do it at their own time instead of having to come to you for the process?
I don't think the purpose of this forum is for people to come here looking to make a profit on services. If so, they should go through proper protocol with the Moderators. Just my $0.02.
yeah...from how you described the process, it is not feasable for me since it would require the OP to have the car. Bummer..I have looked at NavTec stuff and they have nothing that would work for our X250's .... I rememeber when I test drove the XE, it had a VIM rear dash cam which was really neat.
I have a 2011 Jaguar XF and I’d love to know what all it does. I live in America though idk if that’s gonna be a problem. But I’d love to have vim on my car My 2011 Jaguar XF with the 22 inch offset Forgies

On Classic XF it's impossible to do without any aftermarket solutions.
