Hi all,
I was curious if the forum had any interest in seeing some Jags reviewed on YouTube, and if so what you would say are strong selling points or setbacks of the car based on your ownership? I love Jag's, especially the XF, but have never owned one so it's a bit hard to come up with a long term assessment! I would really appreciate the help of anyone interested in getting involved![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks,
Spencer

I like the 2011 XF so much, and I consider it such a great buy that I just picked up a second one. I bought the first one new, and after a while, I just didn't want to drive any other car, so I traded in my second car for another one.
My take: Everything on the Jag feels premium to me compared to other cars. Some complain about the switch gear, but I don't have any problem there. The car is very solid, and quiet. It corners like it's on a monorail. The 5.0L effortless pulls the car and makes it a pleasure to hear it growl (they must have spent millions just on the exhaust tuning to get that large cat-like growl). The suspension is a pleasure over rough pavement. The infotainment system is slow and clunky, but it works and you get used to getting around it over time.
The only downside to me is the limited back seat leg room. So if you are a tall driver that needs to have the seat almost all the way back, it's really tight in the back seats.
As far as reliability, both have been free of major issues (the records on the used one showed it just needed annual services). And the 2011's come with 5 years of bumper to bumper and included maintenance.
The chicks seem to dig the Jag just fine when they see it, so I don't think it gives up anything socially to the Merc, Audi, or BMW in that department.
Unfortunately, Jag is still fighting reputation issues from the 70's and 80's for reliability, and old-man image, so I think a lot of buyers of premium brands never even take a test drive of the XF. If they did, I am sure many would buy them.
