Scaremongering at its finest.

Independent Jaguar mechanics can figure out how to fix a car that is based on a Lincoln LS without any problem. Just ask your local Jag club which mechanics specialize in Jaguars.

LoL And the Cayenne is just a VW, And the Gallardo is just an Audi, And the Aston Martins V12 is noting more than 2 Ford 3.0L Mondeo engines end to end, But Ford WILL NOT TOUCH THEM! Ya Ya Ya. I'm sure if these Jag were that close to Lincolns you could just take them to Ford instead of Jag. I'm just not trying to have an Indi LEARN on my XFR. I know a few good Indi's But as Clint said, "A mans GOT to know his LIMITATIONS".

To each is own,... I'm with you Lotus, many independents and European mechanics out there. Nothing special about a Jaaaaaag. In fact my friends Buick Lacrosse has WAY more bells and whistles on it than my XF. Go where you are comfortable and pay the difference one way or another, some would say.

Well,
I am the only one who has turned a wrench other than alignment (after new car warranty) on any of my Jags (listed below, plus more) and I have most of the tools, but I bought the Jag warranty on the XFR, because it has a lot of expensive, hard to fix "stuff".

And if yu think an XFR is a "Lincoln LS", you sure don't need to own a Jag!

Ok then, is an XFR an "STR"? (double smiley...)

Torque is how far you take the wall with you
