Default Washer bottle level sensor

My 2010 XF is displaying “low washer fluid”.
It did this before and I changed the sensor but the warning has returned. It is intermittent and usually comes on after driving a few miles.
It is most annoying and I wonder if anyone else has experienced a similar problem?
And yes, the bottle is fully topped up

Probably the sensor again. You can try shorting out the wires to the sensor to test it. And maybe leave the sensor off, and just fill up your washer fluid the old fashion way.

Default XF Washer Bottle

Thank you for your response. Think I’ll disconnect the sensor connection and hopefully the warning light will disappear. Having checked both the original sensor and the replacement sensor with a continuity meter they would appear to be operating correctly so not sure why the warning comes on?
