K&N filters
Mina Axle back exhaust
Mina Pulley
Custom tune (This Week)
35% carbon tint all around
HardWired my V1 radar
Exchanged all interior lights with pure white 6k LED's ( Best thing ever, so bright and white even light versus the stock yellowish halogen bulbs)
Exchanged the rear tag bulbs with red LED to match tail lights and make the rear lights look more uniform than those super whites people use for the plate light.
swapped out the stock 4500k HID bulbs for 6K pure white HID bulbd for that clear white HID over the stock Yellowish HID color.
Also removed trunk light bulb and used a LED white strip light "12" for even bright trunk light.
About t oadd 15MM front and 20MM wheel spacers to give that even stance and a tad better handling. That has to be the cheapest mod for the look and feel you get when done correctly.

Hey bigcat, do you have original HID's on your car or do you have an after market setup? If original HID can you pass on the bulb number...

Lightbulb Bulb replacement list

Here is what I got for bulbs:

Application
Part #

Low beam headlight
HID-D1S I switched mine out for 6K pure white as the stocks are 4500K yellowish/white. I like pure white no blue.

High beam headlight
H7 I used a expensive pair of LED type and leave them on while driving as they are not bright and just for a nice look that match my headlights. Gives a new look to it.

Parking light
2825 same a sa 194 bulb. I used LED 5K white to match

Rear turn signal
12275 looks same as a 5202 but I cant find in red just amber, also known as a h16. oem bulb on 07+ gm fog lights on trucks like denali, avalance , yukon.

Tail light
LED

Stop light
LED

High mount stop light
LED

License plate
2825, same a s 198 bulb. I used red led I had off last car to match all red tails. or used 5K white like everyone else. looks good.

Back up light
5201, same as a 5202 also known as a h16. oem bulb on 07+ gm fog lights on trucks like denali, avalance , yukon.

Front sidemarker
2825, same as 194 but I think I will just leave the stock unplugged as the amber plastic kills the look

Rear sidemarker
LED

Glove box
2825 ,same as 194, I used 5K white LED

Map light
2886X, same as 194, I used 5K white LED

Dome light
2886X same as 194, I used 5K white LED

Step/Courtesy light
2825 same as 194, I used 5K white LED
Trunk light is a long bulb. I bought 2 of those cheesy white strip led lights those kids put on the front bumper to look like a Audi and used those in place of the stock trunk light. It gives such a wide even spread of bright white light. I mounted them to the metal underside of the trunk where stock bulb was. used existing wires. A must do!
When buying the inside LED make sure they are not wide as the they need to fit in the hole and twist and lock in. Take out a stock bulb to see what I mean. I did all of mine and it looks so sweet.
I would only buy my LED's from VLED's.com as they have never failed me and last a long time as well the color is always matching and spot on! here is my coupon code to save you some $$$.

  • Chrome fender vents (already on the car when I bought it)
  • Matching baby seat (Thank you Costo for making a black/spice colored car seat. Everyone thinks it's a custom made seat. )

2011 XF Premium.

Just did the EBC Redstuff on the front yesterday. Left the stock rotor as I only have 5000 miles. So far so good -- no squealing, and brakes feel less grabby than stock. The stock pads looked brand new.

Did a CarID.com rear spoiler.

Also put on a 3m Clear Bra myself. Was a learning exercise, but looks great.

Hardwired a Valentine One to the rear view mirror power.

Put in new Jag floor mats, and I used the old ones (still in pretty good shape) to make a dead pedal cover by cutting to shape. I used the spiral pins that are used to hold down bedding to hook the pad to the existing carpet. Looks factory.

What's the story with the 3M in front of the rear wheel arches?

I did the front of the car in 3M, but is there something particularly delicate about the painted areas in front of the rear wheels of an XF? After 5K miles, I haven't seen any issue. It wouldn't be hard to add clear bra to that area.

After about a year (around 5k miles for me), when I was polishing the car, I noticed a number of very small chips in front of the rear wheel arches. This seems to be from small pebbles and road sand being kicked up by the front tires and hitting the arches, which stick out a bit. Same issue as on a wide-body 911, but less so. Note that I have front and rear splash guards, so it might have been worse without that.

Some of those are not mods. I consider changing your break pads, spark plugs, and fluids to be maintenance. And a sunshade is a mod? Lol

Seen this car on another forum. It's a cool mod. Wanted to attempt the lit Jaguar letters on the trunk but can't seem to find a spare. Don't want to ruin mine if I mess up.
