Default Where to get a BCM Programmed???

I have a 2009 XF with bad body control module, specifically the one that looks like a fuse block in the passenger footwell. I sent it off to be repaired, but I'm being told the board itself is bad and I will need to get a new one.

I bought a used one off eBay and plugged it in, and it fixed all the issues I was having except getting the car to crank. With the used module, I was able to pull codes and now it has a vin mismatch with the passenger footwell module. Is there some way, or someone that can program the correct vin into this used module I have? If I have to buy a new one, can I buy it already programmed with the correct vin, or would I have to bring the car to the dealer and drop it off?

A lot of Ford/Lincoln electronics in our XFs. Ford is a po po head about these things. They want you to buy a new module, so they make it so the module has to be programmed to the car, and then they disable the ability to reprogram used modules. No way it needs to be like this from an engineering standpoint. It's quite the scam given how often their modules fail, but they seem to be getting away with it for a long time. I know it was this way back when I owned a 2006 Lincoln Town Car.

So I wouldn't be surprised if that's your fate for the XF. If so, you'll to go to someone that has one of those crazy expensive dealer or 3rd party diagnostic computers that do the reprogramming, so add another couple hundred for them to press a couple of keys.

I have a 2010 Jaguar xf with a bad BCM, and I would like to know what’s the best route to go with replacing it and how much total is the repair. I’m trying to see if I should take my BCM out and reprogram it or buy a used one and program it. Please provide feedback. Thanks
