wipers
I have posted this problem before. What was a minor annoyance has now become an aggravation.
I start the car- 2012 Jaguar XF Base
Put car in gear-either R or D
Wipers come on even though wiper switch is in OFF position
Dashboard Airbag light stays on.
Wipers will not turn off even if wiper switch is moved up and down
Nothing I do will stop wipers except turning off ignition. Wipers stop immediately-even if in mid-swipe.
I restart the car and start and stop wipers to return them to normal OFF location
What used to happen once every 2 weeks or so now happens 50+ percent of the time I start the car.
I suspect it has something to do with the electronics booting up at engine start but that's a SWAG
Any help is deeply appreciated.

How old is you battery? Weak batteries cause all sorts of issues with these cars!!

that used to happen to me on an older car I had(not jag) and pressing the brake would cause the rear defroster to turn on and would blow the cigarette lighter fuse and make a signal light flash and turn on..
took it to an auto electric and they had to trace all that and finally got it all fixed
back then it cost i think 150 but that was like 20 years ago
I'd go that route unless you have an extended warranty(I do on my 12 portfolio) and all that would be covered
