Would you buy a Jag with no dealership close

Damn you Jagular, you made Mountain Dew come out my nose
I really thank you all for all of your responses. I think I will wait until spring and buy a '10 XF. I just can't stop thinking about this car. I'm going to have to chance it. After all I do live in Montana so I have a flatbed trailer and a truck. In the mean time I will stick around this awesome forum and soak up as much information as I can. Along with continuing to fuel my lust for the XF.

I'm happy to see you have a sense of humor. Just curious, what are the speed limits between you and the Jag dealer? I just returned from a 270 mile round trip to our north country. The XF wants to run wide open. That 300 miles could go by pretty quick at 90 plus mph, (assuming speed limit allows).

Well now let's see. I have owned 5 Jags over the years and have never been stranded by one, which is more than I can say for certain Buicks and Chryslers. All that really means is that I'm over due.
I am surrounded by Jag dealers but not one closer than 1 hours drive. I figure that to be the outer limit. Five hours to get service? No way. You are just asking for a $1K tow bill, sooner if not later.

Forget the towing bill. What if it's a minor problem that doesn't keep the car off the road -- do you want to drive 300 miles to the dealer, then back in a loaner car (10-12 hours of driving), and then reverse the process a day later?

Long Islander,
That is my biggest concern at this point. Driving the car over 5 hrs just to get to the dealership only to find they have to order the part or they ordered the wrong one
Of course nothing would upset me more than making an appointment with said dealership for an early morning appointment only so they could pull my car into the shop after their lunch break!
Man alive! This is just hypothetical speculation and I'm getting pissed off!
