Hello, looking for some advice and opinion here.
Had an idea after drinking a beer (yep I know) to take my 2.2d engine out as it’s got 300k kms on it and replace it with a fully refurbished 3.0v6 from jaguar.
What do you think would need to be changed to accommodate the bigger engine?
I expect that exhaust but also perhaps gearbox too?
Might sound mad but i got this car and invested in it 8 years ago, to make it the same color inside and out as my grandfathers mark 2 and so I really don’t want to part with this car.
Incidentally all the bushings and suspension check out great and the car has been powder coated underneath.. fortunately rust on cars isn’t a problem in this part of the world thanks to humidity and seasonal weather.
