I finally ordered and installed the niche Essen, and I really like the look. Thanks again for the help. I do think a little drop is in order, but that might take a while
Just for reference, I went for 20x9 +38 front and 20x10 +40 in the back. Sorry for the picture quality.

Glad you got the proper set-up. I think a mild drop is in order for both our cars.
So I have decided to pull the trigger on these wheels in 21" I have a few questions before I place my order. The center bore for our cars is 63.4 but the Niche Essen that I'm looking at are 63.5. For the two forum members that have these can you confirm that yours are 63.5 please.
Also, I'm lowered on H&R, I want to go with 245/35/21 front 285/30/21 like Duke. Or should I go with 255/30/21 front 295/25/21 rear. Or any other recommendations from people who have put larger wheels on lowered cars.
I really liked your setup and thanks for all details about tyre sizes. It looks really good. I have almost the same car, only European style. I had the original Hydra 20 x 8,5 inch wheels but changed them to staggered XIX X15 wheels 20 x 8,5/10. I was really great, but not 100% satisfied and have now ordered 21inch wheels from Coventry wheels. I will have the same tyre dimensions as you and I think that will be the perfect combination on a Jag XF. The Front wheels will have ET35 so little more aggressive than ET38.
I have lowered mine with the sport lowering springs from spires, since I think the Mina or H&R springs will lower the car too much. The Spires lowered the car approx. 18mm front/rear. :-) In combination with 21" I believe that will be Perfect!!!
Good luck with lowering your car.
I lowered mine with the Spires springs a couple months ago. Mild drop as advertised. Haven't gotten around to taking pics but will try to post some soon.
I drafted this long post about choosing new wheels for my new XF which included plenty of commentary and pictures. Then I accidently closed my browser. So here's the short version: I wanted 21" wheels for my new XF to replace the forged 22s from my old XF but didn't want to pay for forged/multi-piece wheels. There aren't a lot of 21s available unless you're looking for a forged wheel.
I'll paint the calipers soon and am considering lowering.
I went with these same wheels on my XK. Saw your car while browsing out of boredom. Nice ride indeed!

I wish they had an actually wheel sticky up top, but I figured I would throw some other options out there. It's nice seeing all of the different choices people have went with.
I really like the Niche Essens. I had also considered the Rohanna RC22's, but ended up finding a guy on here that was selling his Ace Convex wheels for a deal I couldn't pass up. These are 8.5x20 up front with a 35mm offset and 10x20 in the rear with a 45mm offset.
